After months of teasing, OnePlus finally unveils OnePlus 2. The new high-end killer he holds all his promises?
As previously announced the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus, its new high-end killer was unveiled today at 4 am, and those who are up early were able to attend the virtual keynote Cardboard through a type of helmet and a dedicated application.
As the manufacturer of the characteristics in a trickle, the information given below ultimately are mostly a reminder of what has already been mentioned earlier about features of OnePlus2.
Under the hood, we have a 64-bit processor Octa-Core Snapdragon 810, with a GPU Adreno 430. The RAM is 4 GB or 3 GB (LPDDR4), depending on the version. At the level of internal storage (and it is important to note that there is no memory card slot), the user will have the choice between 64 GB and 16 GB.
As expected, the battery is 3300 mAh and will be supplied with a cable USB Type-C . Everything runs OxygenOS , a version of Android that ultimately is much like a stock release.
Connectivity side, it has everything you need, namely the dual band WiFi, GPS + GLONASS antenna, Bluetooth 4.1 and of course compatibility with 4G / LTE networks.
The screen is still 5.5 inches and Full HD still protected by the Gorilla Glass glass. In contrast, mobile surface was slightly reduced, but not its thickness: 151.8 x 74.9 x 9.85 x 75.9 mm against 152.9 x 8.9 mm for the One.
On the edge of the smartphone, you have a "Slider Alert" button that toggles between three different modes: the first is the silent mode, the second allows alerts and the third priority is the normal mode. And of course, there is a fingerprint scanner that would be more reactive than the touch Apple ID, according to the manufacturer.
The chassis is metal and as you can see from the images below, there are 5 choices for the hull.
The camera sensor is still 13 MP, with an aperture of f / 2.0. But OnePlus 2 wants to be more effective than its predecessor, especially for night shots . Added to this is a laser focus, dual-LED flash and image stabilization.
But for me, the most interesting part is the price. While the OnePlus 2 is more expensive than its predecessor, but it retains its status as flagship killer, a "high end" sold at a relatively affordable price.
Sales in Europe and the United States will begin on August 11. The model with 64 GB of memory will be available to 389 dollars while one with a memory of 16 GB RAM and a more modest 3 GB will be sold at 329 dollars.
However, you may be irritated to learn that to buy the OnePlus 2, it will have an invitation. You can find out more about the invitation system here. The manufacturer, however, announced that these invitations will be easier to have (but we expect to see that). Anyway, you can already register on the reservation list, even if it seems not won.
