A few days back Google announced the latest update in its Gmail with all new amazing Spam Filter. But just in a few days, it seems that the functionality is broken, badly broken.
With this new feature, Google was promising some very good things but now seeing the error rate of the functionality, some people are really pissed off too badly.
+Linus Torvalds has written, in detail, about this issue on his Google+ Wall. He's says that after the update, he found some important emails gone missing. So he started searching his spams. And, it turned out that above 30% of his important emails were marked wrongly as Spams. He added that out of 3000 spams threads which he checked, 1190 were threads wrongly marked as Spams by Spam filter. You can read his full report on his wall post.
