Kaspersky joined a small group of anti-virus vendors, within the social network and offer a small utility that can scan and clean the PC, in case of discovery of malware on the user's wall or if it has clicked the wrong content.

Recently, the professional messenger, Skype was also found to have some bugs. Apart from this there were also reports on major security issue on WordPress based websites.

Kasperky, despite his great fame, is not the first antivirus solution with which Facebook has woven an alliance. There are some time, the social network has signed the same type of partnership with ESET, F-Secure or Trend Micro. One more proof that for Facebook, user safety is at the heart of its concerns.

With over one billion active users each month and with viral potential of the social network, Facebook has been for many years the target or the means used to spread malware rapidly in certain content such as videos.
